Bordeaux Love Show Opening - Keep A Breast Europe
October has become, all over the world, the month to mobilize for the fight against breast cancer by encouraging women to get tested. This global effort is extended both nationally and internationally by linking the symbolic color of "pink" to the month of October. Keep A Breast Foundation Europe presented an exhibition of breast casts in various venues around the city of Bordeaux (shops, galleries, clinics, etc.) from October 2-30th, 2012: the "Bordeaux Love Show." This original exhibition presents casts of women from all walks of Bordeaux. Many local artists, such as Dakota, Nathalie Kaïd, Skin Jackin and Blade, have also lent their contributions.
The Bordeaux Love Show aims to raise awareness of the importance of breast cancer screening and it seeks to break the taboos associated with the disease. Thus, throughout the month of October, the public can admire these breast casts in shops, galleries and in health centers all across the city of Bordeaux. All of the casts will be auctioned and the money raised will help fund the necessary programs and support that Keep A Breast offers to women affected by breast cancer.
