A few weeks ago I booked a band to open for Turisas and Firewind on 2/28 and, with the help of a post on their Facebook page, I just booked a band to open for Hellyeah the VERY NEXT DAY. This is exciting for me.

Congrats! I've always wanted a job with concerts as well. I love rock/metal so much I don't know where to begin. But again that's a success to start off

Well, DimebagDallas, you suck for already buying your ticket. 2, I cannot name the band until it's 100% confirmed and they start selling tickets. Right now he's getting everything worked out with the band, manager, and personal booking agent, but it should all go through. Tickets will be $26.

But, yes, I have booked 3 different bands to open for nationals lately. 2 bands for 2/28 (Revengeance and No Rest for the Wicked, Turisas/Firewind @ The Door in Dallas. I'm not getting paid for it. Instead I've got unlimited guest-list and MAJOR recognition. I might just have to get on my knees to thank them. The Hellyeah show (3/1 @ Trees) I'm getting guest-list +1 and a cut of what the band gets paid (% depends on how many they sell after the minimum is met). I'm also going to get MAJOR recognition for that show. :D And I'm working on getting a band to Corpus open for the biggest band from DFW since Drowning Pool. If you're from Dallas then you probably know who I'm talking about.

My fav local bands now are rivethead and razorblade dolls. Not sure who you aretalkin about, but if they are local I have probably seen them
