Opinions are of everyones right but really, to bash & state the fact you will not attend this yrs festival due to not (in your view) a "metal" concert... well alot of metalheads know that Pittsburgh has always been a 2nd tier of cities when it comes to concerts. We all see shows/bands that landscape the USA and alot of times Pittsburgh is left off the 1st run but then a 2nd crossing has Pgh in w/ the "other cities." It sucks... yea but IF you are not going and DONT have a ticket, ppl that are going WONT miss you and the family. Just equals less douches but more dedicated fans that enjoy the metal and what Burgettstown/Pittsburgh can get. Hahah, theres always a hater out there.

This is MAYHEM FESTIVAL where you will never see ur precious Nickelback, U2 cause that dude went vertigo and everlast could never keep up with slipknot cause to them everything is wonderful. well at mayhem not all is wonderful its filled with madness, chaos, insanity and brutality and if you can't deal with that then The Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem festival is not for you.

What a bunch of CRAP BANDS! I am very disappointed in the quality of bands that are at this "festival", quotes because this is so bad that you cannot even call it a ROCK festival...bunch of CRAP!

You call this a rock event but Nickelback, Everlast or U2 are not here...this is not good Pittsburgh...no good at all.

I also agree w/ Artdalinkwent. Honestly though, you will never find a festival that will have everything you want. Some new, some same and some well.... Just go, enjoy yourself. Drink if you do, drink if you dont. Outlawtorn21, If the GF and I move from where we are at (1st lot as you just enter on the left aka Burgettstown Lot) then we'll attempt to hit up your area.

FYI everyone, we are tailgating along the dirt path that leads to the rear entrance of the stage just like everyone did last year since they won't open up the lots early like they used to. then we're movin the party to the lot...we'll have a grill and pong set up for yall, come check us out, we'll prob have some huge slipknot flag up on top of the suv so you know who we are...

TDWP puts on a crushing live show, As I lay Dying will bring a relentless pit upon you And slipknot may have softened up a bit but will still put on a show that will make you pussy ass cry like a baby. when i see all the comments about how people love how hard pittsburgh goes i love it... i talk to so many bands and they all say that pittsburgh is the hardest place in the world to mosh i think its because we just beat the hell out of each other then love each other i got knocked out and was stumbling around in a pit last year and the biggest dude there hoped in to help me out and the guitarist for AA told me that they they have been everywhere but when the come to Pittsburgh they love it because we go so hard...ill be planing on seeing everyone of u in there pushing some on around :P

Just picked up a pair(looks like the GF is coming along) Section 2, row N. Planning to get there early *gates usuallly open 90+mins before doors* for some tailgating w/ some food & drinks in the local lot(1st lot on the left at the very beginning of the ent) Cant wait!

Pittsburgh is pretty much THE DATE that Mayhem centers around. its usually close to the middle of the tour and its where every band brings their best shot. this is the date Mayhem is known for. lets make the 5th year the best year!
