I have seen that no one does a follow up after the show post. So we missed a few bands and I don't care for most of the other bands but my friend did like As I Lay Dying. I will say that Anthrax rocked (super surprised they aren't on the main stage). Which brings me to The Devil Wears Prada, we only caught one song...not my cup of tea but not terribly bad. Now for the REAL bands. Motorhead ROCKED OUT BIG TIME and had a pretty awesome drum solo. Slayer was absolutely epic, they were my favorite. Then we have Slipknot. They only had 7 band members again as one is out with spleen surgery. I would say 80-90 percent of the people were there for them and they didn't disappoint. Certainly at par with Slayer with plenty of energy. They had signs that the show was being taped, look for that upon entry, hopefully they make a blu ray/dvd of this years shows. Drink plenty of water. Each person can take in two gallon jugs of water so long as they are still sealed. After entry, they take your caps and send you on your way to get moshed. Another highlight of the day was the religious couple on the outside of the 2nd stage holding up signs of how we were all going to hell and Jesus saves. you could imagine how that went over. LMAO!

I just downloaded the mayhem festival app., it gives you 9 free songs from iTunes from some of the bands playing. I don't see that it gives lineup times, but I went on facebook and liked mayhem festival 2012 and you can see shows previously played and what times/stages that the bands went on. So just check that the day of the show in your city.
the devil wears prada is the mainstage opener if you go to the mayhem festival facebook page and click this date they have the set times
@QueenOfTheShadows: Yes, most of the bands do have signings at each date. Sometimes the headliners make you buy an album or something to meet them though. Most other bands don't though.
