How is the $200 (plus TM fees?) worth it, I am wondering?
One general admission standing pit ticket =$85 (inc. TM fees)
Mayhem Festival Zippo lighter = $20
Mayhem Festival bag = $10
Mayhem Festival beer koozie = $5
Mayhem Collegiate universal size adjustable ring ?
Early entry into the venue = what for?
VIP Commemorative laminate + $5
VIP commemorative ticket = $5
Onsite VIP host = what exactly is this?

There is no VIP host... From all experiences, there isn't one at any venues. Don't listen to this. If you ask the people at the venue, they will likely have 0 idea what you're talking about.

^^ It definitely seems like the VIP thing is just a way to give out some cheap merch and promise some sort of host that may not even exist and worthless 'early entry' for extra $$$. Sounds like a rip-off to me.

It kind of depends on the venue... Some venues don't do anything for you, some do. Some will let you watch the side stage bands from the side. Some will have no idea what you're talking about.

3D tickets aren't a thing this year. You can buy a tour tag during checkout that looks similar. Not sure what the tickets are for VIP packages though, but I wouldn't get it for the sake of having a 3D ticket.
