They are my favorite bands and Corey is the reason I got into singing and performing. I'm 16 and I am into every genre of metal. Black,death,thrash,nwobhm,etc. And I saw slipknot at mayhem last year and going to see stone sour in either Nashville or Atlanta next month so just getting thoughts from you guys.

I like Slipknot as a guilty pleasure/ nostalgia band... Don't really like Stone Sour at all. Kinda meh talent-wise.

Love both bands. It's funny because I'm listening to the new Stone Sour album right now haha Saw Slipknot at Mayhem and met Clown too and I'm going to see Stone Sour again at a local festival in May.

Like both. Corey Taylor should be the example for any of these guys who start side bands. Totally different sound, unlike Device.

@Dimebagdallas,shut the fuck up bout device they are awesome,they sound nothing like disturbed except for draimans vox. does serj tankian solo sound like soad? does a perfectcircle sound like tool? stp to velvet revolver? audiosave to ratm or soundgarden?
