I live in new jersey and went last year.. It was so awesome, won snake pit passes for the second night. Right now me and my friends are seriously considering doing the 9 hour trip to Detroit for the show, really depends on the lineup

Where can I find a line-up for this?

info that i have received is no lineup till after they announce the venue for the festival. which since i dont work for them and dont care for sellouticca i can tell you that the venue is belle isle. which yes is an island in the middle of the detroit river in between detroit and canada. it is a serious venue they used to race the detroit grand prix there. only bad part is there is only one way on and one way off by bridge. plenty of boat docking though. and since there are no hotels on the island i would think a village or campground will be constructed. as for the lineup iv heard through the grapevine kid rock bob seager and battlecross will all perform due to the fact they are all detroit based. havent heard anything elese sorry. hope this helps.

THEY DID NOT SELL OUT. Being a popular band doesnt mean they sold out. They arent releasng pop music. And most of the shit they play live is before black album. I truly dontget why ppl hate on them so much. Megadeth isnt exactly a thrash band anymore either. Some of the stuff slayer did in the late 90s wasnt thrash. Anthrax wasnt thrash in the mid-late 90s. Kreator went gothic metal in the 90s. Yet only i see hate for metallica. load and reload weren their bst cds but they had some good songs. st, anger was pure brutality and ppl just dont understand it, and death magnetic was a step in the right direction. and also, FUCK THE LULU HATERS

I dont get it metallica tried something new on the black album and it was a hit. Slaytanic have you forgot in the kill'em all days hetfield,lars both hated guns n roses,whitesnake and all the other hairmetal bands i could name becouse they were in it just for fame and money. Metallica formed for the exact opposite reason. Just becouse metallica doesnt write a thrash album every single time doesnt mean there sellouts. And btw load and reload and st anger are the worst sellers, so how is that selling out? I got to admit lars is a dush but james is a beast still to this day and so is kirk. And if you consider selling out by a band trying something new then i guess megadeth,morbid angel,anthrax,slayer....are all sell outs.
