No, Greg, sexualization is what is wrong with the music industry (and movie and TV industry as well). People (male and female) should get credited as musicians for their talent, not because they have become sex symbols. Its annoying and gimmicky... I can't stand our sex obsessed culture.

Talent first, yes. But what is wrong with that? you know what, lets look beyond sexualization, what about looks and visuals period? Whats wrong with having visuals if you also have good music?

for the most part, its cheesy and gimmicky. Some bands can pull off visuals right, for example Portal, but often times its just a gimmick.

Bands I like with female vocalists would be In This Moment, Arch Enemy, Nightwish, Straight Line Stitch, Epica, System Divide, The Agonist just to name a few.
