I love the signer of Cerebral Bore. She dresses in baggy clothes and tried to avoid doing interviews because she hates being asked what its like for a girl to be in a metal band. I dont care if a woman is in a metal band. If they can play and/or sing who the fuck cares. Also Anneke von Giersbergen who isn't metal helped with the Devin Townsend Project and added so much to the songs. Who cares if it's a guy or girl. I just care if there is talent or not.

Anneke is a fantastic vocalist, and Som is good as well (but isnt in Cerebral Bore anymore)... honestly, I'm completely fine with female vocalists if they are good, and it isn't used as a gimmick. NOTHING ANNOYS ME MORE THAN SEXUALIZING WOMEN IN BANDS. Quit dressing like a slut, and showing your tits and make good music... Some of my favorite female musicians are Anneke van Giersberge, Som, Sabina Classen (vocalist for Holy Moses), Anna Murphy (hurdy gurdist and backing vocalist for Eluveitie), Jo Bench (bassist for Bolt Thrower), Ashley Spungin and Stevie Floyd (Taurus), Mlny Parsonz (bassist/vocalist of Royal Thunder), Simone Simons (vocalist of Epica. I think she has a great voice, but hate that she kinda capitalizes on the sexual element), and Anette Olzon (ex-Nightwish vocals) - among others.

I also dislike Halestorm, In This Moment, and Evanescance. All of them VERY overrated.

We have so much in common, we both love soup and snow peas, we love the outdoors, and talking and not talking. We could not talk or talk forever and still find things to talk about.
