anybody else sick of these chick singers. IMO the only place for a girl at a concert is in the audience, on her boyfriends shoulders, flashing the tits. This trend of having the girl bass player or singer has got to stop. Or is it just me?

Um whats wrong with a girl in a metal or rock band? It really shouldnt matter. Bands like halestorm and evanscense are great. I dont see the problem

i kinda see where you're coming from, though i don't entirely agree. i don't mind a band having a female singer...as long as she's good. if she's mediocre but got on the album anyways because some record label thought it would bring in a couple of extra bucks, i tend to object. Arch Enemy, Cerebral Bore, The Agonist, and Light This City all have awesome vocalists that could in no way be considered "token women."

ITM, halestorm, evanesance, it just seems played out to me. The girl vocalist just seems whiny. Maria from ITM is hot and all, and moans like a champ but I can't get into the music. It seems like even on the local scene there are alot of bands with the girl who can barely play the bass up on the stage.

I gree but i dont, i think they should stay but woth more manly lyrics, like blood, its weir if a guy sings that cause " im a dirty girl i like it filthy" anyone agree?

THere are some great chick singers and whatnot in metal/rock. One i havent seen mentioned yet is angela gossow. as long as they actually got fuckin talent and not just looks i see no problem, cause if its just looks and no talent they got an open spot waiting in porn. for instnnce, one band female fronted who have no talent are butcher babies. @Dimebag Dallas, u a sexist or something? Not a fan of angela gossow. In flames, soilwork,cob, amon amarth are a million times better if you like that kind if music. And no I am not sexist, just wondering if the girls left a bad taste in anyone else's mouth.

The majority of you are much too young (except maybe Slaytanic) to remember this singer. And this lady could actually sing. Who??? Leather Leone........She's like a female Dio...
