Is there a bit of a doom metal/stoner metal/rock movement going on? I think so. Some quality bands out there with bands like Graveyard, Ghost, Witchcraft, The Sword, High on Fire. I would be down to see any of these bands on Mayhem.

Yeah. Ive seen a lot of this since 2010. Ghost desperately needs to be the main stage opener on mayhem

The "movement" has been happening for years... Red Fang has already even played Mayhem, and High on Fire has been scheduled to play last year.

check out hooded menance, saw them 2 years ago @maryland deathfest and they also played doom in june in vegas a week later. those finnish guys got the doom down.

Hooded Menace is cool... also check out Loss, Ahab, Pallbearer, Sleep, Weedeater, Forged in Flame, and Gates of Slumber

some of these bands have been out for some time now, don't forget down or Torche, although it's a genre on the rise.

Torche is a virtual band mr. genius, and Down, isn't new, and isn't doom, they are sludge.
