what about ppl in seats?

I've rocked out on the lawn, in the seats, and in the pit. I just don't understand why you'd bother shelling out the cash if you only have one or two songs you like and one band you care for overall. The worst I saw of this was in Dallas 2008 for DragonForce, the pit was just standing there reading the Revolver hand-out mag and looking half-asleep. If I don't know the song or band I'll either sit off to a side and pay attention or go hang out with folks. I still clap for them after the songs and I yell scream and holler when they do something cool. Personally though, I research bands I don't know before a concert, gives me an idea of what to expect.
