by the way i do support our military, but i don't support our corrupt government who sends them to fight wars for bullshit reasons. I don't like how trendy it has become to be a christian metal band. they sprung up out of every corner and now it's hip or something. Some of them are really talented but i just can't stand the message of the music and i don't want to be around it. If lyrics refer to a god that isn't specific about which god or religion then i don't mind it, but i don't like the bigoted aspect of spreading a message about their personal god. If i wanted to hear that shit i'd go to church. I like if they would keep the christian element out of their music altogether. I don't mind throwdown, underoath, impending doom as long as i don't have to think about the lyrics it makes me sick to my stomach. With all that said i find religion fascinating.

have no stance on demon hunter. there music is ok,nothing really special. but as for @BDL you can keep your "propaganda" to yourself. If you actually read the article like i did, they simply said they support them (the seals). your ignorance and hate is irritating.

the fact that they support them contradicts what they are supposed to believe in and preaching. I'm all for violence when necessary but don't bring religion into it and say it's justified because Jesus is behind us or whatever irrational thinking you want to use. Jesus would have supported any kind of use of violence? God bless america and one nation under god and blah blah blah. typical american point of view about war and how your god is behind us and shit. You're defending a christian band and saying that i'm the one with delusions of reality? I'm very in touch with reality, partner. Believing in something that has no evidence to support its existence is the definition of delusional. "A delusion is a belief held with strong conviction despite superior evidence to the contrary." Superior evidence in this case being overwhelming evidence of evolution. Man made religion is the biggest scam ever pulled on mankind. also the most successful. i'm done arguing something pointless.

I can put up with bands with christian members i have no problem with that, but i hate the extremists,which they are a breed of extremism. THere music awful, i like some metalcore, but goddamn they suck. oh and btw they DO promote torture and war. @bdl, i agree with to an extent. but u gota remember, christianity IS corrupt and DOES promote violence, they are just a anohter group of hypocrites. and they promote torture of suspects who could just flat out be regular ppl, thats not the way to do it, hell even lars is against it.
