hey slaytanic, i know you obviously can't tell us but was this band atleast formed in the last 15 years? i don't think this is asking for much just out of curiosity because im beyond excited on who this band can be

it isn't a band, it was the venues that pushed back all of the release info. dates were suppose to be released dec 15th but was pushed back till last week which caused the domino effect we are seeing. at least that is the info i have received, they had issues with booking some of the venues and are continuing to secure more dates still. either way 4 stages!
You tried hard and you failed. Moral of the story is never try.

yes there are a few artists that have been around that long. i cant tell you who is holding up the announcement because.............. its nobody. as i said the lineup for @rockstarenergymayhemfest was complete in november. it has nothing to do with any one artist. the lineup will be announced on this site march, 18 then tickets go onsale march 22, 23, depending on your city. no presale persay like years past. lineup announcement... then put the tickets onsale, while everybodys still excited. this should theroreticly create more innital ticket sales. then fans also dont have to wait 5-8 months for @rockstarenergymayhemfest after buying tickets.

I like the idea of selling the tickets right after the lineup but I would've suggested announcing your lineup before summer slaughter announces theres and does the money of ticket sales help contribute to bands you guys will attempt to get next year who you guys consider "expensive" (ex: System,Tool,Rammstein,Maiden,Sabbath)

Yes ticket sales venue fees, rockstarenergy merch sales, naming rites fees, rental space, all kinds of stuff. But yes part of all that money goes towards booking next years artists.
