amon amarth is not a vital part of metal. i am a fan of them and they are good band but they are not metallica, slayer, maiden, priest, sabbath etc.

As a form of art, it will always be subjective. But there is a difference between not liking something and thinking something sucks. That's a weird way of wording so I apologize if that's unclear
