they certainly are not my favorite band and i can think of MANY bands id rather have at mayhem (Dethklok, Mushroomhead, A7X, Testament, Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, Meshuggah, Fleshgod Apcalypse, Metallica, Warneck, Anti-Mortem, Vital Remains and Gojira just to name a few) but i definately wouldnt complain if they were on mayhem

Well considering tom morello is in bruce springsteen's band, I highly fucking doubt the band is even together in the first place

not to mention Brad Wilk(the drummer of RATM) is recording with Black Sabbath...

Most people who don't like them is because of their political views and not so much the music. A lot of elitist metal heads genuinely hate anything with rap or hip hop in the music too. I used to wear a rage shirt in high school my junior year in high school around 1995 and my principal made me take it off because the back said "Fear is your only god". Looking back on it now it blows my mind that he made me take it off. Especially at a public school. wow

I like rage. Im definetely not fond of their political views but i still like the band

I love Rage and their political views... I don't see anyone hating on them, at least not in this thread.

I don't really like them. Though I do know what is good and what is crap and they are awesome.

I hate them for so many reasons. Hate the music and their political views. It's my opinion and I'm entitled to that. If someone likes them, more power to ya. I think they suck. Oh well. To each his own.
