If there is going to be 4 stages, then Hartford is going to have a difficult time accommodating for it. They barely had room for the Jaiger and Sumerian stage last year. There are no tour stops really close to me. I live in New York but, any tour stops that are relatively close are 2+ hours away. Saratoga Springs is upstate, Hartford is out of state, Scranton is out of state, Darien Center is on the other side of the state, and Jersey is out of the question. This year's lineup better be worth it.
All in favor of smacking the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame up side the head? Anybody feel the same for the Grammys?

@Tioparo Oh, they are DEFINITELY never coming back to Northeast Ohio. I'm disheartened. If a band I wanted to see was on Mayhem, I won't be able to see them. We were grateful they gave us a chance, but no one really likes NE Ohio. I'm just shocked they took out Cinci too. Ohio was never an ideal state for metal concerts.

@rockinbri - Actually Hartford has one if the biggest ampitheaters in the country! If every other venue is adding the 4th stage then Hartford will have no issue. They will just move, set up, and do whatever the tour tells them needs to be done. Mayhem has come to Hartford every year since the day 1 and its always the best date on the tour. Sorry its too far away from you. Why don't you pull up your skirt and make the trip?!? Hartford always shows up big!

Thought I was going to have a great summer going to concerts, and the one I look forward to the most isn't coming to Cincinnati. I've gone to Mayhem for the past 3 years and I'm very disappointed about how many dates you dropped ! Fuck you guys.

I live in IL so normally I go to the Maryland Heights,Mo it takes an hour to drive versus Tinley Park which takes rroughly 2 1/2 to 3 hrs I've made 3 out of 5 Mayhem Fest missed 1st and 4th one don't want to miss this years festival cause of lack of funds of gas and other expenses that tie end hope Maryland Heights,Mo gets added on with other cities to be added....
Bang you're head

I don't understand why so many people are bitching that their city/state isn't on the tour dates. So you have to drive several hours to the nearest venue? Quit bitching! I'll be driving 10-hours to my venue and I'm really excited! If the lineup is worth it, you will make the time to see these great bands. A tour isn't always going to be in your backyard so deal with it and move on!
