Am I the only one who doesn't think Deftones fit on Mayhem? I really don't like their music much and personally don't think it's metal, I consider it more hard rock. Therefore putting them on Uproar.

I'm with you on that. I don't mind them being on Mayhem, but they are definitely more suited for Uproar

YES. no deftones on mayhem. if anything they are more uproar. i mean, disturbed and 5fdp can play uproar or mayhem but deftones are not that heavy of a band and wouldnt fit mayhem, theyd be the band that no ne really did anything but get drunk during

I feel like the Deftones are one of those bands that can crossover to diffrent crowds. people who are into radio rock like them, people who are into nu metal or hip hop are into them, people who like alternative like them, and metal heads like them. of course not every one likes them but they draw a huge diverse crowd. and the Deftones make such stellar music that it can be loved by all kinds of diffrent people. i think they are too hard to put into a category of "mayhem material" or "uproar material" All i know is if they are one either tour, I AM THERE!!

While I do agree that they are probably more rock than metal, they did play Ozzfest before. Granted that was over a decade ago.
