Rockstar Mayhem Festival

I am a big Korn fan and there have been many occasions on this board that people have complained about them. Most of it comes from there last album when they worked with dub step artists (which i don't think is as bad as others). Now when it comes to Rob Zombie nobody is mentioning how his last album was almost exactly the same type of genre (mondo sex head). What is with the double standard.

mondo sex head was a remix album... not an album of new material........ Also I'm not even a Rob Zombie fan, I'm just not a fan of the basic sluggish riffs, repetitive songs, and pedo style concepts on all of their albums.

They suck.

I am a huge Korn fan. In my opinion they are a great band. They are actually my favorite band.

They also helped me get me into metal, and I prefer their first 3 albums.

they dont get much hate except for path of totality. that album was not good except for 2 songs. other than that korn is awesome

The path of totality is basically worthless musically. The guitarist is a preachy christian who's up his own asspussy with his messages. I mean they're always trying so hard to make radio hits like freak on a leash and twisted transistor. They're basically a bunch of posers anymore and their guitar work all sounds the same, spaghetti string driven that just belches along in the background

i understand that mondo sex head was remixes, i was just drawing a parallel to him and korn. @desolation i don't agree with you as far as trying to make radio music. they have a similar sound through most of there albums with the exception of "Issues" (very heavy) and "path to totality" (dubstepish). as far as there guitarist being a christian i am not sure how that is relevant since he isn't really in the band anymore or does any of the singing so it sounds more like a personal problem then an actually statement based on fact.

I'll admit I can get into Korn's older music, but even then its more of a nostalgic listen than I generally enjoy them and think they are good. I dunno. Their music is basic, and trendy. Much like most nu metal.... I absolutely HATE the "PATH TO TOTALITY" KORNSTEP BULLSHIT THEY RELEASED THOUGH.
