also South Park is not intelligent at all. Sure its satire, but it doesn't make the humor or plot intelligent at all. All it is is stupidly offensive humor for an audience who doesn't really need to think about what is going on. They just explicitly state it.... Shows like Family Guy (which I am also not a huge fan of) do the satire thing much more intelligently. You actually need to have an understanding of what is going on in the world to get their humor and satire, whereas South Park just offensively makes fun of anything and doesn't require you to know about the real life occurrence to understand the joke.
