I'm pretty sure almost all of us (if not all) play an instrument. Who are your biggest influences to play music? Or influences for anything? I could personally list at least 50 right off the top of my head but I'll limit it to the main 10: Angus Young (AC/DC), Dave Mustaine (Megadeth), Eddie Van Halen (Van Halen), Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin), Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath), Richard Krupse (Rammstein), Scott Ian (Anthrax), Ted Nugent, Mick Mars (Motley Crue), and Lemmy (Motorhead) ...... and Darth Vader lol

1) John McLaughlin of Mahavishnu Orchestra/ Miles Davis kick ass Jazz fusion guitarist, he was the one who influenced me to play jazz. In metal I guess you could say Adam Jones from Tool or Jacob Bannon from Converge and of course Jimmy Page.

I don't play an instrument but I'm a singer/screamer and my idols for it include, Corey Taylor, Angela Gossow, Alissa White-Gluz, Brendon Small (believe it or not), Amy Lee, and many more that I can't think of right now.

Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater), Michael Pinella (Symphony X), Rick Wakeman, Keith Emerson, Herbie Hancock are my general influences when it comes to my piano style, but I also draw from Devin Townsend in how he constantly changes what type of music he plays, as well as a few other guitarists in terms of how I write "riffs" and solos for keyboards

I play guitar (as well as piano), and my main idols for guitar are Synyster Gates and Dave Mustaine. Syn was the guy who really got me into wanting to play guitar. I was a little younger and thought he was the bees knees haha (still kinda do). And Dave Mustaine always blew me away as a kid. I never understood how he played so well. And for piano, my two idols are Koji Kondo, and Joe Hisaishi. Im a video game nerd as well as an anime nut so that goes hand in hand
