I was just trying to make a point that metal musicians "skilled" as everyone thinks they are, in no way a I saying they have no talent at all, but lets face it the reason why people who play other instruments hate guitarists is because there are too many of us, and your generic thrash/core/sludge whatever only play barre chords and solo in the minor pentatonic. Of course there are your exceptions, there are bands like Megadeth with guitar virtuosos like Dave Mustaine or bands like Mastodon, Opeth, Between the Buried and me and Dillinger escape plan, but are they mainstream? no, I would never put Gaga over those bands, perhaps it was ignorant of me to say she is smarter than most bands in mainstream metal but it is also ignorant to claim that all pop/hip-hop/electronic sucks. I swear some of you people are no different than your typical girl saying "metal isn't music it's just people screaming"

I never said she wasnt skilled. I admited she was skilled. But talent wise she isnt better then most mainstream metal bands

It's not uncommon for a metalhead to think metal musicians are more talented than other musicians if you ask me. I'm guilty of it.

@bengals279, sorry to say. That Gaga does sing live without autotune, and even if she did. I know first hand that, Chuck Billy of Testament, the lead singer of Death Angel, Flotsam and Jetsam, Santana, Rancid, Sublime, Papa Roach, Smash Mouth, AFI, Journey, and blah blah blah blah blah. Have all used some type of pitch perfecter/reverb/delay to get a certain type of voice on a track. Pop stars aren't the only ones in the world that do it. You can't change my opinion on the fact that after seeing her show, I prefer Gaga more than any metal band.
