& why would you want them to change the immigration laws anyway?? it's not like they enforce them.

I don't hate dave mustaine for his political opinions. I hate how he spouts off his opinions as a way to get attention and if no one agrees with him he gets mad at them. There is a difference between him and lady gaga. And btw i have actually agreed with dave on some points.

Believe I love my metal as much as the next guy here but if you believe that metal musicians are THEE best musicians in music then you're plain ignorant, it's silly how some people have no musical training yet they insist that every single hip hop/pop/ country/blues, electronic artist suck. It's as if they're in denial and don't want to admit that what they listen to has it's own faults, if you listen to an artists only because they are more technical than the others and you think by listening to them you have a better taste in music than everybody else then you should just give up on music in general. Because believe me I have found people like that and they are major ass holes.

Here's the bottom line: Lady GaGa is much more acceptable than any pop musician in recent years, but the music is definitely not my style. Btw, morons get back to topic this wasnt meant to be a thread about political views of musicians, tho Nugent is fucking awesome. Thats it.

I actually agree with greg a little haha. And @Dark i couldn't have said it better myself. Just because metal is my favorite genre doesn't mean some metal musicians suck. And i recognize other talents of music. I been getting into lounge music a lot.

I understand where you guys are coming from... message, talent, blah blah blah... It doesn't change the fact that Gaga's MUSIC is NO different than any other current pop artist out there right now. She may have an actual natural voice, and be a talented vocalist and musician, but she is still applying it to the same level of nonsensical mainstream radio pop as Kesha or Taylor Swift.... by the way I DO think that metal musicians (as a whole, trust me there are PLENTY of bands to make me say otherwise) are among the most talented musicians of ANY kind of music. The only other ones being classical, blues, and jazz to top them.

Talent doesn't favor a genre, technicality does, Dream Theater is full of very technical musicians... it doesn't mean that they are better at making (music) than someone like Kendrick Lamar who is an amazing hip hop artists. Of course you don't have to agree with me

You can't really compare lady gaga and taylor swift. Lady gaga is talented, taylor swift is a whore who can't get over a breakup.
