I don't hate manowar, I just think they are cheesey and a bit of a joke, worth a listen every now and then, but nothing special really. As for industrial, just not a genre I personally don't like. What I want to know is why you find it necesary Greg to bittch about every god damned thing and tell people to fuck off because they don't agree with you.

i didnt write fuck off. and im just wondering cause on other websites online and youtube and people i know and have met and people at concerts ive met do not seem to hate on industrial or mushroomhead, some of the people dont particularily favor the genre or that abnd over others, but they dont 'hate' on them like people hate on core. and as far as manowar goes, only here and blabbermouth is where i see hate.

Industrial metal was basically a passing trend. There isn't a single band today that was part of the industrial metal explosion of the 90s that is still relevant. Rammstein is in the twilight of their career, Rob Zombie is known more for his movies at this point, and Manson has been in decline creatively for about a decade. And those are the bands people give a shit about. All the other industrial metal bands like God Lives Underwater, Stabbing Westward, KMDFM, Mushroomhead, Ministry and Coal Chamber are either defunct or completely irrelevant. Time tests all trends, and industrial metal in large part has not stood the test of time. Is there some good industrial metal? Sure. Rammstein's first two records are excellent. Zombie's first solo record was great, and his work with White Zombie was pretty good. Manson's Antichrist Superstar is more or less a classic. But with the exception of those few records, industrial metal proved only a passing trend.

^ There are some bands, however, that are trying (and so far succeeding) to bring it back. Motionless in White for example. One thing we need to understand is nothing survives without "cross breeding". For example, Motionless in White took a Metalcore "cake" and "covered" it with Industrial "icing". Korn took Nu-Metal and added a bit of Dubstep which in a way reminded me of Industrial...in my opinion, Korn's new album creates a whole new genre that I like to call "Nu-Industrial Metal" and then bands like Whitechapel took Deathcore and leaned closer to Death Metal with a "genre" I call "Melodic Deathcore" Every old genre is coming back around. Even Chelea Grin came out with "Blackened Deathcore" or "Blackcore" So Industrial, Black, and Death are coming back, in a new way.

Fear Factory is a pretty solid band, if you consider them industrial, same goes for Ministry, who I thought put out a pretty good album recently, not to mention that A Mind Is a Terrible Thing To Taste is a great album. Also Greg, I know you didn't say fuck off, but you tend to. Also, I don't know how familiar you are with the archives, but I'm pretty certain they share the same views of manowar as you.
