Rockstar Mayhem Festival

what if on the 2014 Mayhem Fest they had smaller side stages with bands like Wretched, Vital Remains, Texas Hippie Coalition, Anti-Mortem, Psychostick, Commotio Cordius and maybe one bigger band like Motionless in White or Winds of Plague or something....and after all that they have a much bigger Main Stage with bands like Black Sabbath, SOAD, Rammstein, Iron Maiden and/or Metallica. Would it be worth it?

not in my opinion. Honestly for bands like Sabbath and Maiden, I'd kinda wanna see them on their own tour. Not that I wouldn't see them at a Fest like setting, but I guess I'd just rather see more bands at a fest than fewer. That being said Metallica would make the prices skyrocket, so I wouldn't want them to play either.

I rather have a well rounded lineup than huge headliners in my opinion. Last years side stages sucked except AILD. The rest of the time my friends and I kinda just stood there trying to get into the bands we couldnt care less about lol

Anyways, to actually answer the topic at hand, eh, although there are some nice bands you mentioned, when the "bigger" bands for the side stage you mention are shit like Motionless in White and Winds of Plague, I have a problem. Like everyone else, I'd see a much more balanced festival setting with solid side stages with medium popularity metal bands on them and fairly big acts on the mainstage.

the only advantage tinley has is the not much goddamn crack smoke. st. louis is filled. and the lawn at tinley is curved and sucks and the alwn in st louis is great but is crack fileld so FUCK everyone who hasnt smelled that in st louis yet FUCK ALL OF YOU
