Can you recall what order the side stage bands performed that year? I didn't attend Mayhem Festival until 2009.

the Red Chord started it, and Machine Head closed it... all I remember. Oh and Walls of Jericho overlapped with Mastodon, and MH overlapped with Dragonforce on the mainstage. Stupid overlapps

Besides Machine Head and Underoath, all the other side stage bands rotated throughout the dates.

Yeah what they said...haha. All i remember i watching 5FDP, Suicide Silence, part of MH, Half of Dragonforce, Mastodon's speakers fucked up and didnt play half their set, the end of walls of Jericho and all of slipknot and disturbed

Julian go Dallas perfectly. The first season was nothing but overlaps for mainstage openers. Mastodon really got screwed over in 08.
