Anyone else listen to Jason Newsted's (ex-Metallica, shame on you if you didn't know that) EP Metal? I like it, but I'm a bit disappointed. Soldierhead started it off well,but it got really...Load/ReLoad era Metallica ish. Especially the last song Skyscraper, the opening riff could be straight off of Load or ReLoad. I hope the next EP is a little more...Metal.

Newsted is just as guilty as the rest of Metallica for making mainstream music, I'm not surprised and not a big fan of the EP.

its a good ep, unfortunately he'll release another ep and an album, and in a year and a half he'll forget all about it just like echobrain. he shouldve stayed with voivod
