Rockstar Mayhem Festival

Last night, Alex Koehler's (lead singer in Chelsea Grin) side project, Heart In Hand, performed here in my hometown on the Chaos Reborn Tour with Impending Doom. I talked to him about Mayhem, and he said they were on it. Though, he seemed disgruntled and really didn't want to be on this tour. So that made it a little hard for me to believe. However, those were words from his mouth.

Damnit, I hope that's not true. With talks of Emmure also going around, I'm not particularly pleased, too much suck for my liking.

I'll take Emmure over Chelsea Grin anyday. Alex is a bit of a prick. A friend of mine sporting a Mitch Lucker memorial shirt was there, and Alex asked him, "Why are you wearing that?"

I'd rather have Asking Alexandria than Chelsea grin.

I would take Emmure over Chelsea Grin. Hell I'll take any band over Chelsea Grin, even the band that wrote the song Surrounded by Silence. Chelsea Grin is the most generic deathcore there is, they use 3 guitarists to make the sound of one, and yet they are popular somehow.

he probably isn't excited because he knows the band will be avoided. more money for the other bands as far as merch go's. on the plus side maybe there will be some nice tits being shown, that would be the only plus side of them on the tour. but you all are probably getting real tired of me saying this but as long as the main stage is good and half the bands are worth seeing on the side stages i don't really care who else they put on. bad band = awesome time in the beer gardens!

well shit... Mayhem fukkin it up with the core music again... sigh. i guess it was expected considering last year, and some of the horrible wishlists some people have made in that 2013 thread.

Well, if you look at it, they're just continuing on with their tradition of having a deathcore band on every year.

i think most people will take chelsea's grin if they get zombie and behemoth.
