Rockstar Mayhem Festival

I finally found some music of theirs, and while the production was pure shit, the music were headed in a direction that I could like with enough refinement (enough being a large amount). I mean, they aren't that emo-core (I think emo-core, but to be honest, I just made that up on the spot) band Design the Skyline, so that's a plus. I'm not saying I like it, but hey, they could get Rob Caggiano now that he's left Anthrax. How weird would that be? Anyway, I'm off to do something more productive like reading the other posts and commenting on them.

Caggiano only wears a fucking beanie. And they are NOT core of any kind, they are a new metal subgenre called Death-Thrash. The production in the old recordings like rampage fuckster werent great because they recorded all the instruments and vocals through one computer microphone. the newer song Rekkr the production isnt even that bad, its just raw. Wait til the new album comes out on the 30th. it kicks ass.

Uhhhh Greg, death-thash isn't new. It's been around since the late 80's

im not explaining this again, Death thrash like Death or Revocation is NOT Death-Thrash. Death-Thrash is a new movement that started back in 2007-2009. Rekkr,Toxikator,Some Fucking Idiot,No-One-Lives,Goldendream Deathwish,The Spike-Heads,Skullface,etc. are some of the bands of this genre.

actually NO, death thrash was never really a genre inthe first place Death, was the first death metal band, and a band like revocation, i wouldnt call thrash really so NO. and they ddidnt create it, Thraz Hurley, a vice president at the record label im on coined the term and gave it to rekkrs genre and then a bunch of other bands adapted into the style with the name. before any of the people on my label signed rekkr, rekkr when they used to be raking leaves called their genre Black Sludge

Death-Thrash,by nature,doesnt mean death metal and thrash metal together,Death-Thrash means the death, like the breakdown and chaos of thrash metal which is complete assalt on the human mind. THAT is what Death-Thrash is, NOT death metal/thrash metal

just come up with a new damn name for the subgenre, instead of being unoriginal, and yes, I realize the irony of that statement (for greg, its ironic because rekkr isn't original)
