I can't wait to see another TCM in the theater. I like that Marilyn Burns, Gunnar Hansen, and John Dugan are going to be in this film. Bill Moseley as the Cook has me interested in this as well.

all horror movies suck and there hasnt been a good one in years and years. however this franchise needs to just stop. the last one was stupid. the first few movies of this franchise were awesome but the franchise needs to stop and they need to stop making shitty remakes of old slasher films. anyone see the remake of i spit on your grave? stupid as fucking hell

All horror movies suck? Well this thread isn't for you then. As far as recent horror movies go, I really enjoy the Hatchet movies, Trick r Treat, Fear(s) of the Dark, The Last Exorcism, the Thankskilling movies, The Human Centipede 2, Red State, Black Sheep, Teeth, and The Devil's Rejects. I personally like all the movies in the Tcm franchise. I didn't think the Beginning was that bad. R. Lee Ermeywas great in the latest two.

No,i mean in the last 10 or so years they have for the most part sucked. obviously not all horror movies suck. The Devil's Rejects was masterpiece but not a rlly a horror film,more of a dark western slasher/exploitation film. The thing is,all horror movies are anymore are jump scenes and screaming,thats not horror,thats just repetitive startling. And even original slasher movies these days arent very good,except saw,but saw had meaning. Because in these new slashers they dont barely show anything its wayyy too censored. exploitation is where its at. check out the August Underground movies or Martyrs,or one of the sickest ones called The Angel's Melancholy. you guys want a fucked up film with a very very good meaning?---watch A Serbian Film.

The Last Exorcism, Let Me In, The Rite was OK. The TCM re-makes have done nothing but suck. You people must not have seen the original if you think those are good.

The original had me so scared that I had to pause it and go have a cigarette break to calm down.

I love the original TCM. I think I enjoyed the 2nd one more than any of them though. The remake wasn't that bad.

this new texas chainsaw 3d isnt really a "re-make" its a sequel to the 1974 film and the director from the first texas chainsaw from 1974 said that this 3d one is incredible. im super stoked for it. gonna see it tonight at 10
