Avenged Sevenfold, Rob Zombie, Lamb of God, Machine Head. That's my ideal stage line up for 2013. Children of Bodom, Behemoth, Sylosis, and Jagermeister opener.

Greg Deftones have more platinum and gold certifications than Slayer making them more popular, they would fit perfectly co-headlining, and they co-headlined knotfest with SLIPKNOT HEADLINING.

The point is Deftones can play the same spots in festivals as Slayer can, Prime example, KNOTFEST, Deftones also plays the same venues as Slayer does when their on Headlining tours.

I'm not a fan of deftones but I definitely think they are big enough to cohedline. Greg, just because you don't think they are good, doesn't mean they aren't popular enough. Your stupidity amazes me everyday

Members of In This Moment conducted a radio interview where they revealed they were on a HUGE festival tour for the summer of 2013 with Rob Zombie and Deftones.
At 2 different college seminars this fall Kevin Lyman revealed Rob Zombie was headlining Mayhem Fest 2013 and that a band who performed on the small stage in 2008 was going to be one of the coheadliners. The only band that has the popularity from the small stages of 2008 is 5FDP.
Sylosis has also been telling fans at concerts that they will play Mayhem Fest 2013.
If Bodom and MH are not on Summer Slaughter it is possible Mayhem Fest 2013 could look like this:
Rob Zombie, 5FDP, Deftones, In This Moment, Machine Head, Children Of Bodom, Behemoth, Sylosis

I love both bands so that would immediately make me go. Machine head is awesome live and behemoth is just pure awesomeness.

If that's the case I'll be leaving after Deftones.

Behemoth alone would make me buy a ticket.
