An Original Reasonable Mayhem Fest Line-Up

Here is what I believe would be an epic and reasonable Mayhem Fest line-up. What I mean by original is that i assume none of these bands have ever played. comment below with your original line up or on my line-up Mainstage: Headliners: System of A Down (everyone is asking for them so why not give the people who they want plus they are a huge draw) GWAR (I understand they might be alot of money as well but i think Rammstein and LOG would be just as expensive plus they have a large amount of fans and their shows are insanely entertaining) Fear Factory (just like Motorhead in 2012 and Megadeth in 2011, you need a good legendary band to bring in an older generation, lots of 90s teens will be here plus they've had a good amount of experience with fest tours (ozzfest) and they could use more album buys for The Industrialist) Openning the Mainstage (the whole tour) A Day To Remember (whatever most people say about them these guys still have a good talent when it comes to live performances I'm not a huge fan but as far as drawing money if the 3 headliners don't sell out arenas, these guys definitely will help cause they can bring all the core kids remember the promoters want a huge draw this year and ADTR will help that cause *Due to the expensive mainstage, reasonably there would be only one side stage. However to me this side stage would be beyond worth the price of admission* Jager Stage Headliner: Kreator (just like Anthrax in 2012, a large fan based thrash band needs to headline the Jager Stage. They released Phantom Antichrist recently and has had a great amount of songs that could create huge pits.Since these guys are also from Germany it exposes them to an even greater U.S. audience and their shows are epic. Exodus could also headline if Kreator couldn't) Soulfly (I honestly have no clue how these guys(or Max Cavalera I should say) haven't gotten on Mayhem, these guys are crazy and if Kreator doesn't bring the extreme thrashers, trust me this guys well definitely help!) Arch Enemy (there is a debate on whether or not Arch Enemy should be on the mainstage. Even though, it would be great to see that they can't possibly be above any of the previous bands mentioned. Now on a side note, kick-ass band especially live and they will definitely bring in lots of females to the show to help make Mayhem a sold-out show) Darkest Hour (like As I Lay Dying,Shadows Fall and God Forbid in previous years, you need a good metalcore band at this fest. Great band and could definitely see them in the future) Carnifex (just like with Whitechapel,Job for a Cowboy and Suicide Silence, these guys will bring the core kids. Remember the key is selling out and these guys also have a kick ass set and will bring high intensity to build up for the other bands. Other bands who could be in this spot besides Carnifex could be August Burns Red (great band!),Bring Me The Horizon (surprised they haven't been on it and have a large fan base) and Veil of Maya (another good band) Openning the Stage (after the battle of the bands winner): The Crimson Armada (a very sick band who would be a great openner who have yet to be on this tour, these guys could definitely bring some core kids as well. A band who could fill this role could also be Atilla There you have it, I put lots of thought into this and I know we all want an insane mega tour with like Metallica,Maiden,Sabbath,Priest,Slayer,Megadeth,Rammstein,LOG,Slipknot,Disturbed,Pantera Reunion like tour but its not reasonable guys I'm not saying it will never happen but it seems unlikely for years to come. This show is original with bands who haven't been on this tour and have yet to join it. It can bring all sorts of metal fans from 90s kids, shock rockers, thrashers, female metal heads, core kids.

I could definitely see some of the newer bands on that list being there. The headliners are iffy, but I could definitely see GWAR headlining the Jager Stage and rotating on the main stage.

I would definitely skip this. A day to remember and august burns red dont seem to fit in, I wouldnt wanna see gwar on the mainstage, and i think soulfly would need to be higher

August Burns Red fits more than Asking Alexandria last year plus are way better live (my opinion). But ya, ADTR is more pop punk/ post hardcore than anything, not metal at all. they dont belong
