Rockstar Mayhem Festival

Thoughts? I have seen both bands live this year and i think machine head is better live but trivium is a better band to me. Not that i think they are better than MH either but i just got into them way before machine head.

I got into trivium way before machine head but I honestly think I like Machine head alittle bit better. I like both live. I just like rob Flynn's vocals better.

I've seen Machine Head at Mayhem 2008, Metallica 2009, Mayhem 2011, The Eighth Plague in 2012 and The Metalocalypse Tour with Dethklok... I've seen Trivium at Mayhem in 2011..Trivium doesn't compete with Machine Head. Machine Head gives people the most for their money every tour! I've never been disappointed with them, I actually met them last year to which was a total nostalgia trip for me since they're one of my favorite bands. Trivium always seems childish in my eyes, almost like kid metal and lately they tour with really BAD bands *cough cough* Asking Alexandria.

I gotta give this one to Machine Head. Not taking anything away from Trivium because they were good when I saw them on Mayhem. But I got into Machine Head way before I got into Trivium and I enjoyed Machine Head's live performance more

Machine Head kicks more ass then trivium

Both are really solid bands, but Machine Head has some real shitty albums and only recently have been putting out some really good material, granted, Trivium has some less than stellar stuff, but I enjoy them as a whole much more.
