well im not the owner, but no,as a label,we focus on people buying physical cds rather than online downloads,at least some of the bands on the label. personally i would rather have my bands cd (when its released) physically bought rather than digitally,up until we have more of a following of fanbase so then people wuld buy physically and digitally. thats pretty much it,for instance the owner, stresses the buying of physical cds of his band because of all of the information inside the booklet like who wrote the songs and the lyrics and the info of making and recording and whatever else is in it,the cover art,the fact that if you buy a physical cd you can transport it anywhere and also rip the tracks to a computer so you both physical and digital copy, and face it,physical cds are much better, and also we only do digipak not compact disc cases. and no,none of the label associates or owner are 'money douches',ys,we all want to make money and that is the heart of business, but ive seen what the owner does when scouting for new bands to sign or partership with, and if him or the associates dont like the sound even if they think that particular band will go far,we only sign good bands with genuine music.

I prefer the CD. Not only do I get to download it back onto my computer if it were to ever crash, but I like to actually have a collection to show off. Not to mention if you go to a show and meet the band or members of the band, you can get them signed.

I agree with physical CDs are better for signing and who wrote what and art work. I agree that you can also rip CDs to a P.C to put on your phones and etc.But face the facts using iTunes etc is a way of spreading the art and you can't deny that. Just pay for it because we musicians work hard and want to get paid for our effort. But rekkr does indeed suck.
