Glam is almost as bad as Nu metal. It is also way too soft for Mayhem.

So you guys are saying that Motley Crue,Def leppard,Posion,etc. suck? i mean obviously those bands shouldnt play mayhem, but they dont suck. Crashdiet is a newer metal band who is glam or they call it sleaze,but they could fit in with mayhem. and im sure every one there could appreciate steel panther. seriously,why is it ok for scene bands to play bu tnot glam? ad @GoldenGod,are you saying all Nu Metal is bad? Slipknot,Disturbed,Godsmack,A7X,etc.? Nu Metal is just a different style,i dont see why metalehads cant just accept other genres,instead a good majority limit themselves to only 1 or a couple genres. you,sir,are an elitist. as long as its not generic radio shit like hinder,than i see no issue

uhh redven The killers and the strokes aren't glam.

Teh strokes and the killers are indie and pretty darn good if I do say so myself.

I'm not saying they're glam... I'm saying just because they're another style and good it doesn't mean they should be on Mayhem. Same with Motley Crue, their old songs are written well but that style is dead.
