Yes, the name Black Sabbath stayed. But when Dio came, the style changed dramatically. Most bands change alot when they lose the vocalist.

Ozzy defines Black Sabbath. Not a fine of Dio though.

i know they were still called black sabbath for a while but the eventualy changed to heaven and hell, because black sabbath was and will always be with ozzy singing

Dio is a Sabbath vocalist, they had to change the name because when Ozzy sued Tony just a few years ago to the the name held between the original four members there was a clause in the court paper work that basically said only Ozzy could sing for Black Sabbath. The style didn't really change that much between the two musically, Never Say Die does not seem that far from Heaven and Hell to me.
