In the last 12 years-21st century only and HARD ROCK,not prog or glam or blues, or metal,HARD. i gotta go with: ---- 10.Ponykiller 9.The Answer 8.Beware Of Darkness 7.Bad City 6.The Treatment 5.Kopek 4.Halestorm 3.Alter Bridge 2.Airbourne 1.Foxy Shazam. these are best hard rock of the last 12 years in my opinion. i was thinking about wolfmother,then i thought,no,fuck wolfmother. ,be encouraged to agree with me and if yyou find that one or more of these bands shouldnt be on here then please fucking say WHY fucking goddamn why u think that. and then give ur 5.

nah sevendust aint metal. if they were any type of metal it would be alternative. their singles are the ones that make them sound heavy. all their other stuff is basically hard rock

their genre isnt a big deal cause their music is good,but seriously how the hell can someone listen to Alpha and say its not metal? but in the end,i think we here can all agree that Foxy Shazam is the best newer hard rock band there fucking is.

sevendust is a little of both, and that's why they are able to tour with both. In the last twenty years i would say sevendust, smile empty soul, and chevelle. smile empty soul are very underrated. everyone knew them for the bottom of a bottle song but their other albums kick ass. plus they score points with me because they told their label to fuck off when the label told them they wouldn't release their second album because it didn't have a radio single on it. listen to the song "The Hit".

@Duncan,Foxy SHazam is a very very great band,great musicnas too. sort of like if Frank Zappa and Kid Rock got together and played Queen. Look up the songs I Like It,Welcome To TheChurch Of Rock N Roll,and Unstoppable. they are awesome.
