The comment was made for 2 reasons and both are to put things in perspective.
1. A point was that it's very unfair that they took away, in my opinion, a great band and left us with a shitty one.
2. To prove to people that, no matter how much you hate someone, unless you truly are an asshole, you don't really wanna see them die young.
Yes, I HATE Asking Alexandria (Minus the song Morte Et Dabo) but would I REALLY have want them to die in that bus crash? NO. For one, many of my friends are AA fans. I knew people would react to that the way they did, but i've heard so many people say "Oh they just need to die" and I got sick of it. I probably approached it wrong but it got the job done.

I actually don't mind gaslight, granted, i really don't listen to any bands in that genre, but from what i've heard, i've found enjoyable

I'm not a fan of SS or AA so I'm not biased to any of those bands... and you're still a douche, never should anyone die because they have different tastes than yours.
