Not paying to meet people, my girlfriend helped me to meet Dave Brockie (where I was starstruck and tongue tied...meanwhile, she had no idea who he was, she just thought he was a GWAR fan who was actually polite and not creepy), and I met Mike Derks (Balsac) before GWAR put on their show. Also got to grab a drink with him after their set. Somehow, ended up meeting the singer of The Ataris, and had a conversation with him for about 15 minutes about GWAR, and my girlfriend (who is normally very loud and loves to talk anybody and everybody's ear off) was silent and could not believe who I was talking to...and couldn't believe I had no idea who it was.
