I am curious about peoples opinions on this. Do you think comedy belongs in metal? I think comedy is really needed in every day life and in every facet of it and the people that don't think so have a stick up there ass and need to pull it out, but this is my opinion. I love to laugh and go crazy and have a good time. I love bands like Green Jelly, Dethklok, Austrean Death Machine, Ail Storm. Someone the other day heard i was in a comedy metal band and told me comedy had no place in metal! WHAT DO YOU THINK? Give your opinion.

^ exactly What I Say!!! And yes i love fucking gwar and psycho stick I guess i just really like my shit really funny silly and drug laced but also brutal and bad ass!! So mix them and i'm all about it!!

Two of my favorite things in this world are music and comedy. That being said, I'm not too big into "comedy metal". Out of all the bands listed, I only really enjoy dethklok. I also hate people who take themselves way too seriously. So I guess a healthy balance of comedy ,with out coming of as gimmicky, is good.

Well along with ALESTORM, you might as well throw in Swashbuckle as a great pirate metal band that isn't too serious. Personally, I love seeing comedy in metal (hence one of the reasons why I'm a huge Devin Townsend fan) you can't be serious all of the time
