19, favorite genres are thrash, melo-death, and power metal. Also, NWOBHM if you consider that a genre. I don't consider it one, but I love most bands from that era.

I'm 19. Melodic Death Metal (seems to be more popular by the second), Technical Death Metal, Folk Metal. GOOD Metalcore and Hardcore. Stoner, Sludge and Groove influenced metal (not as a whole typically).

20. My favorite is thrash, with groove/thrash taking a close second place.

I am 18. Lately I have been more into the atmospheric/transcendental black metal, noise/doom metal, and progressive extreme metal stuff... but I also am big into traditional thrash, death, doom, black, prog metal w/e.... Really I'm into everything except core and nu metal.

I'm 20, and I love thrash metal, death metal (melodic death metal more so) , black metal, folk metal, industrial metal, groove metal, djent, glam metal, some power metal (Sabaton in particular), metalcore (1st wave like Sadaows Fall, KsE, early ATR, etc.) some deathcore, and Nu-Metal. Pretty much everything except post-hardcore.
