So many bands/artists I like have played the last 5 years. Bad Religion, The Bouncing Souls, As I Lay Dying, The Bronx, Dillinger Escape Plan, Every Time I Die, Motion City Soundtrack, Pennywise, Reel Big Fish, The Vandals, Street Dogs, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, MC Chris, Revolution Mother, Bayside, Flogging Molly, Less Than Jake, Thrice, Galows, P.O.S. Shad, Streetlight Manifesto, Shooter Jennings, Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band, Andrew WK, Dropkick Murphys, AM Taxi, Polar Bear Club, The Swellers, Big D and the Kids Table, Flatfoot 56, Against Me!, Unwritten Law, Lionize, Moving Mountains, The Menzingers, Title Fight, Skinny Lister, Larry and His Flask, Transit, and Anti-Flag. I love the variety of acts Warped always has.

warped is a step back because the style of music being played on it is terrible. yes the occasional good band will play warped (then they usual end up on mayhem...step up) but overall as a festival it is a bunch of no talent chug riff bullshit bands playing for 14-18 yo girls with angst.
You tried hard and you failed. Moral of the story is never try.

I will go to warped simply to see Hatebreed if they are playing on it. I have seen them every time they have come around since 98 except once.
every man dies. but not every man truly lives.

It sounds like you think playing Warped is a step back because you personally don't like Warped or the bands that play. I'm not looking at it as a personal preference, I'm looking at it more of a business stand point. Warped is a more successful festival than Mayhem and has been around almost 15 years longer than Mayhem.I feel as is\f Hatebreed will get more out of playing Warped than if they played Mayhem yet again. What's the point of playing in a band if you don't play your music for as many people as you possibly can?
