How are they taking a step backwards? It's smart if Killswitch Engage plays Warped Tour in my opinion. Why keep playing to the same fan base over and over again? They would be taking a chance trying to expose their music to potential fans. I think they would have more of a chance to gain new fans at Warped instead of playing Mayhem again. The same goes for Hatebreed. Who knows, maybe Warped is trying to get some more heavy bands that aren't shitty. I see nothing wrong broadening the musical styles of a tour, especially for the fan's sake.

As long as there are some good bands on Mayhem, I could care less who else plays. I just won't watch them. There are always shitty bands on Mayhem. I really doubt Pierce the Veil and Falling in Reverse would ever be put on Mayhem. People like to stress over the littlest things.

Hatebreed not being on Mayhem is saddening but I guess that leaves the slot open for a new band (hopefully).

Why the fuck would hatebreed play warped tour? Because they have played on warped tour before and mainly because they have roots in punk. Most of the bands they used to tour with back in the day and still do sometimes are punk bands. They actually were more punk than metal when they started.

Why is everyone saying it would be a step backwards for them to play warped? They are trying to gain more fans, and honestly that just means warped as a tour is getting better. That just doesn't make sense to me to get mad. Either way we are all gonna see them no matter what tour they are on. If cannibal corpse was on warped would anyone be complaining.
