1. Don't compare Venom to Rekkr, Venom are one of the most influential names in the genre as a whole, if you honestly think REKKR can attain those levels, you are simply out of your mind. @. Don't suggest I need to be more open minded because I don't enjoy something you like, there is a damn good chance that not only do I listen to more forms of music than you, but am able to play more styles than you.

i wasnt comparing Venom to Rekkr,i was saying that when Venom and White Zombie started they were both hated,like rekkr is here,and im saying Rekkr is going to be regarded good by most when that album drops,i wasnt comparing the bands as far as sound goes of course venom is better dumbass. and as far as styles of music,name it.

Alright, if it'll shut you the hell up, I'll reserve my judgement until I hear the full album, but from what I have heard so far, it doesn't seem promising. When you go back and listen to old demos of bands like Megadeth and Exodus and the like, yeah, they have pretty terrible quality and are kinda messy as a whole, but you can at least tell that they had talent and were on the cutting edge at the time, the same cannot be said for Rekkr. As for music, what, you want me to get into a genre listing fest? Yeah, that's not gonna accomplish much. I will say, however, that since you seem to idolize Manowar, one of the most gimmicky bands out there that constantly release the same record over time, I'm guessing your tastes are a bit limited. I personally play in three different bands, each one a completely different style (jam/jazz/funk, alternative/prog, and accoustic) and have played in other ensumbles from big band jazz to traditional balinese percussion, ultimately resulting in not only me having a wider taste in music than you, but also greater versatility as a musician.

manowar kicks fucking ass,but they arent my favorite band and metal/rock is the only genre i listen to,anything from those to jazz to punk to grunge even classical and no i only play bass guitar and vocals so stop throwing insults before you know someone,and especially to the guy earlier who said my bands sucked,you probly havent heard em.

You're right, I shouldn't throw around insults before I'm fully informed, but now I am, so I can safely say I am a more flexible musician than you since I play piano, bass, guitar, and percussion (set, concert percussion, marching percussion, and world percussion), and am a vocalist, and even when REKKR release their "best" material, that doesn't mean it'll be any good, I'm certain Blood on the Dance Floor and Asking Alexandria haven't released their best work either, its still gonna suck.

rekkr isnt screamo,so really those bands arent a comparison. i mean that those old 2 songs are from an old lineup,the only song with the new lineup is the song rekkr,in fact they said on their fb page they are releasing the first single off the new album sometime early next week so just wait.
