the greatest death metal band vs greatest black metal band,i vote mayhem,corpsegrinder can be a dick at times. opinions?

Haha Corpsegrinder's not a dick. I've met him and he was nice as fuck. This is like comparing apples and oranges but I'll play. Mayhem has a more interesting history than Cannibal Corpse being with the members murdering each other, the Satanism, underground cults and Uncle Varg. But I prefer death metal over black but its close because I do love black metal but I'd go with the Barnes-era Cannibal Corpse

Mayhem is the best but as for cannible corpse Barnes-era Cannibal Corpse wass the best don't care for corpsegrinder much

Cannibal corpse with fisher, in my opinion he's a much better singer than barnes

The reason I think people think Corpsegrinder is a dick because he always says *in hoarse voice* "If you don't headbang to this fucking song, I'm gonna come out there and beat the shit out of you." Of course he's kidding and I think it's because he spends all his time on WoW haha

lol Corpsegrinder can be a dick while Varg killed Euronymous, Varg is a neo-nazi, they're satanists, burned churches, slaughter pigs and throw their heads at people during shows, and such... All in all I love both bands.. too hard to compare
