so i remember before mayhem tour even started kerry king told us they completely finished 3 songs off the new album....and still no news from them? any1 else know anything about it.

They are finishing the record this fall/winter and it should be out early next year. There was plans for an EP, I believe, but it was most likely scrapped.

a friend of mine had some kind meet and greet thing at a mayhem tent with king and apparently said that there were a few songs done off new album that were recorded with gary holt and not jeff hanneman and that album is coming out sometime in february or march and they going on a coheadlining tour in the spring/early summer with testament anthrax and exodus---sounds pretty damn awesome but kerry king isnt always reliable

I've been wondering the same thing, and as 666 said, it's probably scrapped. They were talking about releasing it prior to Mayhem Fest initially, and now that there has been no news, it's probably not happening.

Sorry "GREG" but you're wrong, Gary didn't record anything for the new album. Kerry has stated in various interviews that he has done all the guitar tracks since the 90s. I don't believe a god damn word you ever say anymore.
