Older bands on uproar that i would like would be def leppard, motley crue, poison or any kind of glam band. And then grunge bands from the 90s. But no way in hell should heart be on their. Ive seen them live and there amazing but they are definetely not for uproar

If an older band played it would have to be one that crossed over somewhat or still fits that style of bands playing like Motley Crue would be the closest. None of the other hair metal bands from the 80s would work except maybe skid row., and no, runs n roses was not hair metal. And I hope you're not serious suggesting ZZ Top. As for the Grunge bands from the 90s, you're clueless if you think there's a remote possiblity of any of them playing uproar. this kind of thing has been discussed on this board many times a la Tool, Rage, etc, and none of the bands from the 90s who are established and who have any dignity would ever play a commercialized crap fest with mediocre bands like Uproar. Lollapalooza was much different than Uproar or Ozzfest or Mayhem, so please don't bring it up in attempt to make a point like so many have done on here because it just makes you look even dumber. With all that said there might be a slight possibility of STP doing something like uproar, although i seriously doubt it, and i only say slight possibility because they played rock festivals several years ago with some of the crappy bands that play uproar. You're thinking more along the lines of a lollapalooza or bonaroo variety style of tour, which might be a bad idea. Rock on the Range and Rocklahoma are already using that type of strategy, but they are just in one location each.

also worth mentioning is that the bands that play on the rock festival circuit are not the same bands playing at alternative festivals like bonaroo and lollapallooza, which the grunge bands and older bands would be better suited for.

Alice in Chains could go both ways. I could see them doing Mayhem next year.
