my label has an abstract set up and so far is doing pretty well. and believe me there are still people maybe not you but people who do buy cds what if tool released a new album? what about manowar? they only produce cds and $5 thing was if someone wanted a digital download that bad theyd pay 5 times as much per song then just buy a 12 dollar cd. personally,i think its genious and you dont know the label im on and its set up so dont criticize it before youve done research

so you are tool? nope didn't think so. obviously if tool put out a new cd and didn't do it digitally people would buy it. but they should put it on itunes rhapsody. almost zero overhead. you don't have to pay for shipping, artwork, plastic, etc... plus it is availible to the masses. Read my lips CD's will be gone from store shelfs within the next five years. instead of getting CD's at concerts it will be a card with a SID number on it that you will go to the artists page and download the album from them.

people like you are the problem with the music industrys downfall,technology is going to be the downfall of everything. didnt you ever listen to burton c bell or ted nugent or original detritus? fuck itunes and digital download. and by the way moron there are even people who collect new vinyl so shut the hell up neophyte. ill tell you this what if your stupid little card or computer crashes or breaks or gets lost then all your money spent on music is GONE. plus what if you want to listen in a radio or the car then you have to go out and buy cd rs when if you bought the cd thats 1 disc and you can still transport the music to computer or ipod or whatever. also,you get to see the lyrics the band info etc. and original fucking artwork and a PHYSICAL goddamn copy of the music on disc right in front of you so plus the sound is better on disc in a stereo in a car or wherever. and its bands like tool and manowar and kreator and even GNR who only put new stuff out on disc who are keeping the industry alive. simple answer: FUCK OFF.

Ok i like using itunes and buying cds. Itunes just makes it easier so stop critisizing it. If people want to use itunes dont get mad at them, they dont want to drive to walmart to buy a cd when it is a few buttons away, while sitting on your couch

actually it's called having a portable hard drive... welcome to 2006 smart ass. also you are insane. digital media is the best thing to happen to music (CD's are digital media by the way) what is ruining the music industry is there are to many bands not putting out good music. as a consumer why would i buy a cd that has 2 songs i like for $13 when i can buy those 2 songs for $2. also a lot of bands see my money that wouldn't have because of digital media. stop fighting technology and use it to help you. but who am i to have an opinion. maybe you should ask the millions and millions of people who have ipods. moron i have an ipod and many external hard drives and use them but i mean if its a cd with tons of fucking effortless filler and 3 good songs i can understand but like priest maiden metallica tool manowar kreator or any band with an album with mostly great songs why not just buy the album and respect the band and the music,and even though i have an ipod i put music from other places on it and i will NEVER download from fascist itunes. if this pisses you off and u cant understand why not ask others or make a fuckin thread and see opinions of others here.

you do know you have to use itunes in order to load songs onto your ipod... Check, you do know you can buy a whole album not just songs from itunes or rhapsody... Mate. Also i don't need to post a thread because there are millions of people who own smart phones and MP3 Players who would rather have the convenience of being able to have there music on the go. sorry your "labels" idea to only put out cd's makes about as much sense a movie studio who would only put movies on vhs.

i mean i dont buy from itunes. and yeah i know you can download albums idiot if you bought the cd once its ripped to the computer just put the music digitally on ipod or phone or whatever that way there is digital copies and a physical.
