In all honesty, this was the most unorganized concert event i have ever been too. I was at the one at Tinley Park, IL on July 21st. My friends and i are having trouble with the merchandise (I want my goddamn lighter). but that's not even close to being as bad as how we were treated when we got there. 1st we couldn't go into the VIP Lounge because we bought from VIP Nation instead of LiveNation, i asked the lady there what type of ticket do you need to buy to get in (I was curious) she said either be a season ticketholder at the amphitheater or buy a skybox seat, which the latter was $150 dollars. We paid $200 each for out tickets and people who paid cheaper got in because they bought from LiveNation, that is bullshit. But this isn't even the main reason we were pissed. My friend lost his ticket and we went to the reprint station. They couldn't print it because they only printed LiveNation tickets. We had all of the Information, the account number, the credit card used, the e-mail conformation, he even had the VIP laminent we received when we entered. above that, they wouldn't even comp him another seat in a different section. He paid $200 dollars and they couldn't do a damn thing. (fortunately enough, we talked to security at the gate and they let us in), and we missed half of Motorheads performance because we were there for about an hour and a half trying to get them to do something. and the 4 of us had to share 3 seats because my friend bought his ticket later than we did and was 2 rows back. Whoever was running that event should be fired, no joke. Those tickets should have been $150 at the MOST. Guys, when you buy VIP, you should get VIP treatment because that's what you paid for. you may think this sounds a bit selfish but it's true. Also the people working there had no clue what time the shows were at, there were no agendas or anything to look at (luckily i knew from looking at facebook a week before and they had it all listed). As great a time i had at that concert, i doubt i'll ever go to Mayhem Fest ever again after all of that bullshit.

I was almost Mr. Coffee. They thought I was a little bit too relaxed.

I bought VIP tickets some years ago, what came with it was VIP parking, I got to use the quick lane in to the venue, I got to use VIP bar, VIP restrooms, and the thing that sold me was green room passes (not back stage passes), but in the green room they served free alcohol. If my pass allowed me to do anything else I don't know, the staff wasn't very helpful.
