I hate people who insist that one subgenre of metal is the only one that counts. It's all metal, who gives a shit? There are good bands and bad bands in every subgenre, even though I personally lean heavily towards metalcore, classic thrash, and 90s post-thrash. But I don't diss a band simply cuz they're a different genre, I give every band a chance to prove themselves with me regardless of the kind of music they make. I don't know why that is such a difficult concept for people to wrap their heads around.

Is Trixy still active? I'm wondering if it's the same one who couldn't tolerate a different Mayhem related forum.

Your definition of "good metal" simply revolves around your taste. You may not like certain genres or bands, but you shouldn't bash someone for liking them.
